The Products section allows the card owner to display physical products, digital products, packages, memberships, paid resources, or other items through the digital card.
Each product can include:
The Products section also provides a Display Product Enquiry Button control. This allows visitors to ask about a product before purchasing or visiting its external product page.
Product purchases and submitted orders are managed separately through the main Product Orders section.
From the dashboard:
On a phone or smaller screen, select the menu icon inside the editor to display the available sections.
The Products page displays the products currently connected to the selected digital card.
At the top of the Products screen are two main controls:
Below these controls is the product-management table.
Each product listing can display:
The available product actions are:
Each digital card has its own product list. Adding a product to one card does not automatically add it to another card.
Turn on Display Product Enquiry Button to show an enquiry action with products on the public digital card.
This gives visitors a way to ask questions such as:
The setting applies to the complete Products section rather than one individual product.
Turn the switch off when products should be displayed without a product-specific enquiry option.
The Product Enquiry Button and the product-purchase process serve different purposes.
The visitor asks a question or requests more information before taking further action.
The visitor selects the purchasing option, enters the required order information, and proceeds through the configured payment process.
A card may offer both actions so visitors can either purchase immediately or contact the seller first.
The general enquiry controls configured in Basic Details 3 should also be reviewed.
For the most complete enquiry experience:
Submitted enquiries can be reviewed through the main Inquiries section.
Select Add Product.
The New Product window opens with the following fields:
The product name and at least one product image are required. The remaining fields can be completed according to how the product will be presented or sold.
Use the Name field to enter the title visitors will see.
Examples include:
The product name should clearly identify what the visitor is viewing.
Avoid names such as:
Use consistent capitalization across the product catalog.
Use the Currency dropdown to select the currency associated with the product price.
Examples include:
The displayed currency options are drawn from the currencies configured in the platform.
When a price is entered, a currency must also be selected. The system validates this relationship and displays an error when a product has a price but no currency.
The currency symbol is displayed with the product price in the management table and public product presentation.
Use the Price field to enter the product’s selling price.
The field accepts amounts using up to two decimal places.
Examples:
The minimum value is zero. Do not enter a currency symbol inside the Price field because the selected Currency supplies the symbol or currency identity.
Correct:
Incorrect:
The Price field can be left blank when the product is informational or when the visitor must contact the seller for pricing.
Examples include:
When no price is entered, do not select a currency solely to create the appearance of a priced item.
Use the Description or Product URL to explain how the visitor can obtain pricing.
Enter a price of 0 only when the item is genuinely free and the public presentation should show a zero-value product.
Examples may include:
When the product should not display any price, leave the Price field blank instead of entering zero.
After saving, preview the public card to confirm how the selected template presents a zero-value product.
The Sort field controls the product’s position in ordered product listings.
Enter a whole number such as:
Lower numbered products are positioned before higher numbered products in the ordered product list.
Example:
Products without a Sort number are placed after products that have numbered positions in the complete ordered listing.
Each product attached to the same digital card must use a different Sort number.
For example, two products on the same card cannot both use:
When a Sort number is already assigned, the system displays:
Choose another number and save the product again.
The Sort field is optional. Leave it blank when a specific product order is not needed.
To change the display order:
This process avoids the duplicate Sort-number validation.
Use Product URL to connect the product to another website or page.
Suitable destinations include:
Enter the complete address, including https://.
Correct:
Incorrect:
The product address is displayed as a clickable link where supported and opens in a separate browser tab.
The Product URL and the built-in product-purchase process can be used for different purposes.
Sends visitors to an external page or website.
Allows the visitor to submit an order through the VCard product process and use a configured payment option.
Use the Product URL when the full transaction takes place somewhere else.
Use the built-in purchase process when orders should be recorded inside Product Orders.
A product may include an external URL while also displaying information and enquiry options on the card. Preview the final visitor experience to avoid presenting competing or confusing actions.
Use the Description field to explain the product.
A strong description should tell visitors:
Example:
A comprehensive financial literacy workbook containing student activities, practical money-management exercises, personal assessments, and guided reflection pages for middle and high school learners.
Another example:
A complete small-business technology assessment that reviews customer communication, marketing tools, data management, workflow, and operational infrastructure.
Avoid placing an entire company history inside one product description.
Use the main VCard Description or Blog section for broader company information.
Product descriptions should focus on the specific item being presented.
A practical format is:
The product form does not provide separate variation fields for sizes, colors, models, or quantities.
When a product has variations, explain them in the Description.
Example:
Available in small, medium, large, and extra-large. Enter your preferred size in the order information or contact us before purchasing.
A Product URL may also be used to send visitors to an external store that provides full variation selection.
The Product Icon area is used to upload the product’s visual media.
Although the interface uses the term Product Icon, the upload control supports multiple images.
To upload product images:
At least one product image should be uploaded when creating a product.
Use these image formats:
These formats are validated by the product-update process and provide the most reliable compatibility.
Avoid unsupported document, video, or animated-image formats in the Product Icon field.
The product upload control accepts multiple image selections.
Multiple images are useful for showing:
Select all desired images from the file browser when uploading them together.
The selected VCard template determines how multiple images are presented to visitors.
The first stored product image generally serves as the primary product icon or thumbnail.
Upload the strongest identifying image first.
The main image should:
Additional images can provide more detail.
The product image control uses the general wide-image crop interface.
Keep the main subject centered and avoid placing important details near the edges.
Before applying the crop:
Use similarly proportioned images throughout the catalog for a consistent appearance.
For professional results:
Large images should be optimized so the public card loads efficiently.
After completing the product information, select Save.
The system validates the form before adding the product.
Common validation problems include:
When the product is accepted:
The programmed success message identifies that the VCard product was created successfully.
Select Discard to close the New Product window without saving.
Discard does not affect previously saved products.
Any unsaved information or selected images will need to be entered again when the form is reopened.
Select the View icon beside a product.
The Product Details window displays:
Use this window to review the saved information without opening the editing form.
The management list may also display the product’s external URL where one has been entered.
Confirm that:
Close the details window after reviewing it.
Select the Edit icon beside the product you want to update.
The Edit Product window opens with its existing information.
You can change:
Update the Name when:
Select Save after making the correction.
When updating the price:
When a price is entered, the Currency must remain selected.
Changing the displayed price does not alter completed historical orders. It affects the current product presentation and future order activity.
Enter a new unused whole number in the Sort field.
The number must not already belong to another product on the same VCard.
After saving, review the full public product list to confirm the new order.
Replace the Product URL when the destination has changed.
After saving:
Remove the URL when the external page is no longer needed.
The Edit Product form can accept additional product images.
To add images:
Upload new images when:
After uploading the replacements, remove outdated images when the editor provides the image-delete control.
Existing product media can be removed individually.
When the image-delete control appears:
Deleting one product image does not delete the complete product.
Make sure at least one useful product image remains.
Select Save after completing the edits.
A success message confirms that the VCard product was updated successfully.
The product list refreshes and displays the revised information.
Select Discard to leave the editing window without saving the current changes.
Select the Delete icon beside the product.
Review the confirmation message and approve the deletion.
Deleting a product removes:
The public card will no longer display the product after deletion.
Before deleting a product, review Product Orders to determine whether the item has associated customer transactions.
Deleting an active product can affect the ability to reference it from current workflows.
When the product is temporarily unavailable, consider keeping the record while hiding the Products section or updating the description instead of immediately deleting it.
The complete Products section is controlled through Manage Sections.
To show Products:
When enabled, the Products section can appear according to the selected VCard template.
To hide the complete Products section:
The existing product records remain stored and can be displayed again later.
This is useful when:
After adding or editing products:
The selected template determines how the Products section is visually arranged.
Some VCard templates display only a limited number of products on the primary card page and provide a View More action.
Selecting View More opens the card’s complete product listing.
The full product listing uses the product Sort values to establish the ordered display. Numbered products appear before entries with blank Sort values.
Review both the main card and the complete product page.
A visitor can select a product and begin the order process.
The transaction may request customer information such as:
The available payment methods are determined by the payment services configured for the card owner.
The system contains purchasing workflows for several online payment services as well as manually recorded orders.
Some payment services only accept specific currencies.
A product can be saved with a valid currency even when a particular payment provider does not support that currency. The payment process may then display a currency-support error.
Before publishing a purchasable product:
The system supports a manual payment method for product orders.
A manually submitted order records the customer’s:
The order is then available through the Product Orders section.
Email notifications may also be sent to the customer and card owner according to the configured order-notification settings.
Orders created through VCard products are managed from the main navigation under Product Orders.
The Product Orders area is used to:
Product-order management will be covered in its own chapter.

A strong product title explains the item without requiring the visitor to read the full description.
The primary image should represent the exact item being sold.
Do not use a generic stock image when it could cause visitors to misunderstand what they will receive.
For digital products, suitable images include:
Use the Description to explain how the customer receives the product.
Examples:
This reduces unnecessary customer enquiries.
