AIUNIFY Assistant is an AI-powered voice-calling workspace designed to manage inbound and outbound telephone operations from one system.
The application allows a business to combine:
The application’s public interface describes its primary purpose as providing AI Voice Agents for Inbound & Outbound Calls and centralizing campaigns, conversations, and calling operations in one workspace.
AIUNIFY Assistant helps a business automate telephone conversations that would otherwise require a person to manually place or answer each call.
A properly configured AI agent can be used to:
The public application describes capabilities including outbound campaigns, inbound call handling, AI Lead scoring, call recordings and transcripts, neural AI voices, and Lead and Campaign management.
An inbound call begins when someone calls a telephone number connected to the account.
A typical inbound workflow is:
Phone-number configuration includes an Inbound Call Handling Agent selection. Incoming calls to the number are handled by that selected Agent. When no Agent is assigned, the interface can use a forwarding number where one has been configured; otherwise, the call can be ended.
An outbound call begins when AIUNIFY Assistant calls a Lead.
A common outbound workflow is:
Outbound Campaigns can be used for purposes such as:
The business is responsible for ensuring that its campaigns, call lists, recordings, and automated calls comply with applicable consent, telemarketing, privacy, and recording laws.
An AI Agent and a Campaign perform different functions.
The Agent controls how the conversation is conducted.
It can contain:
The Campaign controls the outbound calling operation.
It can determine:
An Agent can exist without an active Campaign. A Campaign requires the necessary calling resources before it can operate.
Agent instructions tell the Agent how to behave.
A Knowledge Base gives the Agent information it can use.
Example:
An Agent can follow a conversation style while consulting a Knowledge Base for business-specific information.
AIUNIFY Assistant provides separate sections for Phone Numbers and SIP Trunks.
Used to configure callable telephone numbers, including numbers connected through supported telephony providers such as Twilio.
A Phone Number can be associated with:
Used for Session Initiation Protocol connections associated with compatible business telephone infrastructure.
SIP operation can require:
Businesses using ordinary Twilio-based calling may not need to configure a SIP Trunk.
Leads are the people or organizations the business intends to contact or track.
Lead records can include information such as:
Call Logs are records of telephone activity that has already occurred.
A Call Log can be associated with:
Changing a Lead does not erase an earlier Call Log. Call Logs should be treated as historical operational records.
Open AIUNIFY Assistant at:
The public home page can display information about the system and provide access to:
The landing page contains separate desktop and mobile navigation and directs authenticated users to the Dashboard.
Some pages can be opened without signing in.
The application identifies these public routes:
Operational pages such as Dashboard, Leads, Agents, Campaigns, and Call Logs require an authenticated account. The authentication provider checks access to protected routes and redirects unauthorized users according to their login status.
To sign in:
assistant.poweredbyaiunify.com.The Login page identifies the system as PoweredByAiUnify Assistant and explains that the workspace is used to manage campaigns, conversations, and calling operations.
The application includes Google OAuth authentication and a dedicated Google callback page.
Where the Google option is enabled:
Do not enter a Google password directly into an AIUNIFY text field. Google credentials should be entered only on Google’s own authorization page.
The backend contains a Google authentication strategy and uses a dedicated callback route for completing the login process.
A deactivated user cannot continue into the protected workspace.
When the system determines that the account is deactivated, it can redirect the user to the Deactivated Account page.
That page provides a Contact Support action using the support email configured in the application’s public settings.
When an account is deactivated:
Deactivation does not necessarily mean that the account’s data was deleted.
After login, the operational interface is divided into:
Provides access to the system’s primary sections.
Provides mobile-menu access and the signed-in user menu.
Displays the selected page, forms, tables, charts, dialogs, and results.
The protected workspace uses a shared Dashboard Layout containing the Sidebar and Header.
On a desktop or wide browser window, the Sidebar normally remains visible on the left side.
To open a section:
Avoid repeatedly selecting a menu item while the page is still loading.
On a narrow screen, the Sidebar can be opened using the menu icon in the Header.
To use it:
The Header contains a mobile menu action, while the shared Dashboard Layout manages whether the Sidebar is open or closed.
Dashboard opens the account’s operational overview.
Use it to:
The Dashboard retrieves its information from the authenticated dashboard statistics endpoint and contains a New Campaign action and a link to Call Logs. The data structure includes Lead, contacted Lead, uncontacted Lead, Campaign, and Agent counts.
Leads contains the people or organizations that can be contacted through Campaigns.
Use Leads to:
The interface saves certain Lead display preferences in the browser, including selected tags and visible columns. These local preferences are cleared during logout.
Phone Numbers is used to configure numbers connected to calling providers.
Use this section to:
The Phone Number form specifically allows the user to select an Agent for inbound calls.
SIP Trunks is used to configure compatible SIP connections.
Use it when the business operates with:
SIP configuration is more technical than adding a normal Twilio number and may require server-level assistance.
AI Agents is used to create and manage the voices that conduct calls.
The Agents page supports more than one creation approach, including creating an Agent through a template selection. It also supports Card and List viewing modes.
Use this section to:
Knowledge Base stores business information used by AI Agents.
Use it to provide information such as:
A Knowledge Base should be reviewed before being assigned to an active Agent because inaccurate information can affect live conversations.
Campaigns controls outbound calling projects.
Use it to:
A Campaign should not be started until the calling provider, number, Agent, and Leads have been reviewed.
The Campaign interface checks whether Twilio has been configured before beginning applicable calling operations and directs the user to Settings when it is missing.
Call Logs provides the historical record of inbound and outbound telephone activity.
Use it to:
The Call Logs interface includes Campaign filtering, direction filtering, Lead qualification filtering, CSV export, authenticated recordings, and optional OpenRouter analysis for Lead qualification and conversation summarization.
Appointments contains scheduling records associated with the account’s calling operation.
Use it to:
The application includes an Availability Manager, time-zone settings, Appointment Booked events, and Appointment Canceled events.
Support allows the user to communicate with platform support.
Use it to:
The Sidebar can display a count associated with pending support activity. Administrators can also see an administrative pending-support count.
Settings contains account, telephony, integration, notification, billing, and operational configuration.
Depending on the active installation, Settings can include:
Settings can also be opened from the user menu in the Header.
The Admin menu appears only for an authorized administrator or Super Administrator.
The customer Sidebar checks whether the stored user has:
or:
before displaying the Admin destination.
The Admin area is used for platform-level functions such as:
Normal account users should not expect to see Admin.
The Header displays an account menu using the signed-in user’s stored Name and Email.
To open it:
The Header refreshes the account information through the current-user endpoint and displays the resulting Name and Email.
The user menu contains a Settings action.
Selecting it opens:
Use the shortcut when the Sidebar is closed or when account configuration must be reached quickly.
To sign out:
The logout process clears the saved authentication session and Lead-interface preferences, displays Logged out successfully, and redirects the browser to Login.
Always log out after using:
The Dashboard is the first operational summary of the account.
It should be used to answer questions such as:
The Dashboard should be treated as a summary. Detailed investigation should be completed in the applicable section.
The Leads metric represents the total number of Lead records included in the Dashboard statistics.
It is not necessarily the number of people successfully contacted.
Contacted Leads represents Leads whose records indicate that calling or contact activity has occurred according to the application’s programmed status logic.
A contacted Lead may not necessarily represent:
Review Call Logs and Campaign results for the actual outcome.
Uncontacted Leads represents Lead records that remain outside the contacted category.
Possible reasons can include:
Do not assume that every uncontacted Lead should be called immediately. Review consent, time zone, tags, and campaign purpose first.
The Campaign metric represents Campaign records associated with the account.
The count can include Campaigns in different statuses, such as:
Open Campaigns for the exact operational state.
The Agent metric represents AI Agents available to the account.
An Agent being counted does not prove that it is ready for production calling.
Before using an Agent, confirm:
The Dashboard contains a New Campaign shortcut.
Before using it, confirm that:
The Dashboard provides a path to Call Logs.
Use it when a summary metric requires deeper investigation.
Example:
The Dashboard can display:
when the statistics request fails.
Try:
Do not create duplicate Campaigns merely because the Dashboard totals are temporarily unavailable.
Use this sequence when preparing a new account:
This order reduces the risk of starting a Campaign before the Agent or telephone connection is ready.
Open Settings before creating a production Campaign.
Review:
A missing telephony configuration can prevent a Campaign from starting.
Choose one of the supported calling approaches:
Confirm both inbound and outbound behavior before continuing.
Create a small, accurate Knowledge Base containing information the Agent needs during the test.
Avoid uploading a large collection of outdated or contradictory information during the first test.
Begin with a narrow Agent purpose.
Example:
A focused Agent is easier to test and improve.
Use authorized internal or controlled test numbers before uploading a full customer list.
A small test set makes it easier to confirm:
The first Campaign should:
Do not begin with the full production Lead database.
After a test call:
Do not share the account password through:
Create separate authorized users rather than sharing one account where user-management access is available.
Telephony, AI, payment, email, and webhook settings can contain private credentials.
Do not place them inside:
AI-generated conversations should be monitored.
Review:
Do not assume that a technically completed call was a successful business interaction.
Before calling Leads, confirm:
AIUNIFY Assistant provides the calling technology, but the business remains responsible for lawful use.
Call recordings and transcripts may contain:
Limit access to authorized users and retain records according to the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Check:
Try:
On a mobile or narrow browser:
On a desktop:
Admin appears only for an authorized administrator or Super Administrator.
A normal user should not attempt to open administrative routes directly.
A support count may remain until:
Confirm:
Do not try to bypass access controls with a copied URL.
Confirm that:
Confirm that the appropriate account can access:
Admin should appear only for authorized administrative users.
Before placing calls, confirm that:
Before accepting inbound calls, confirm that:
Confirm that:
At the end of this chapter, the user should understand the purpose of AIUNIFY Assistant, the difference between inbound and outbound calling, how Leads, Phone Numbers, SIP Trunks, AI Agents, Knowledge Bases, Campaigns, Call Logs, and Appointments work together, how to enter the workspace, use the Sidebar and Header, interpret the Dashboard, prepare a first test Campaign, protect account information, and troubleshoot common access and navigation problems.
