35.1 Overview

The WhatsApp Stores feature allows a business to create a public online catalog where visitors can browse Products, review pricing, add items to a cart, submit an order, and continue the purchasing conversation through WhatsApp.

A WhatsApp Store can contain:

  1. A public Store name and logo
  2. A unique public URL
  3. A connected WhatsApp number
  4. Product Categories
  5. Products and Product images
  6. Selling and net prices
  7. Stock information
  8. Business Hours
  9. A selected Store template
  10. Store announcements and offers
  11. Trending videos
  12. Search-engine information
  13. Custom fonts and advanced styling
  14. Privacy, shipping, refund, and terms information
  15. Email subscriptions
  16. Visitor analytics
  17. WhatsApp Product Orders

The customer dashboard provides a dedicated WhatsApp Stores menu. The application includes customer operations for creating, editing, activating, deactivating, previewing, and deleting Stores, together with specialized update functions for templates, SEO, Advanced settings, fonts, Business Hours, videos, policies, and Store announcements.

35.2 WhatsApp Store Versus a WhatsApp Account

Creating a Store does not create a new WhatsApp account or telephone number.

The Store uses a WhatsApp number that already belongs to the business.

The relationship is:

Public WhatsApp Store
Customer browses Products
Customer submits an order
Order information is recorded
Customer continues through WhatsApp

The business must separately maintain access to the connected WhatsApp account.

35.3 WhatsApp Store Versus VCard Products

The application contains two different Product functions:

VCard Products

Products displayed directly inside an individual digital card.

WhatsApp Store Products

Products managed inside a separate public Store with Categories, cart functions, inventory fields, orders, and WhatsApp purchasing.

Do not assume that creating a VCard Product automatically creates a WhatsApp Store Product.

Each catalog must be managed through its own section.

35.4 WhatsApp Store Versus WhatsApp Product Orders

The Store is the public shopping experience.

WhatsApp Product Orders is the dashboard area used to review and process orders submitted through the Store.

Creating a Store does not create an order. An order is created after a customer completes the applicable public ordering process.

Opening WhatsApp Stores

35.5 Opening the Store Management Area

To open the Store list:

  1. Sign in to the customer dashboard.
  2. Locate the main navigation menu.
  3. Select WhatsApp Stores.
  4. Wait for the Store-management table to load.

The Store list is separate from:

VCards
Products
Product Orders
WhatsApp Product Orders
Settings

35.6 Understanding the Store List

Depending on the active table layout, the WhatsApp Stores page can display information or actions related to:

Store Name
Public Preview
Visitor Statistics
Subscribers
Status
Actions

The Actions area provides access to Store management functions. Analytics and Subscribers also have dedicated links from the Store table.

35.7 Store Name

The Store Name identifies the Store inside the dashboard and on its public page.

Examples:

AIUNIFY Business Resource Store
Collins Financial Education Shop
Detroit Home Décor Store
Xnergy EV Accessories

Use a name that distinguishes the Store from other Stores owned by the same account.

Avoid vague names such as:

My Store
Products
New Store
Test

unless the Store is temporary and will not be publicly distributed.

35.8 Public Preview

The Preview action opens the customer-facing Store.

Use Preview to verify:

  1. Logo
  2. Store Name
  3. Template
  4. Categories
  5. Products
  6. Prices
  7. Images
  8. Business Hours
  9. Store Announcement
  10. Policies
  11. Cart functions
  12. WhatsApp connection
  13. Mobile layout

Preview is not a substitute for testing the public Store while signed out.

35.9 Visitor Statistics

The visitor-statistics or Analytics action opens the Store-specific Analytics report.

Analytics was covered in Chapter 34 and includes:

Overview
Countries
Devices
Operating Systems
Browsers
Languages

Each Store has its own Analytics destination.

35.10 Subscribers

The Subscribers action opens the email-subscription records associated with that Store.

Subscribers are separate from:

  1. Customers who only viewed the Store
  2. Customers who placed an order
  3. People who contacted the business through WhatsApp
  4. VCard Subscribers
  5. VCard Contacts

A person appears as a Store Subscriber only after completing the Store’s subscription process.

35.11 Status

The Status control determines whether the Store is active for normal public use.

Use Status to:

  1. Publish a completed Store
  2. Temporarily remove a Store from public use
  3. Pause an outdated catalog
  4. Prevent customers from using a Store during maintenance
  5. Retire a seasonal Store without immediately deleting it

The customer route includes a dedicated WhatsApp Store status operation.

35.12 Actions

The available management actions can include:

Edit
Preview
Analytics
Subscribers
Delete
Status

Some functions may also appear as their own table columns rather than inside the Actions menu.

Planning a New WhatsApp Store

35.13 Information to Prepare

Before creating a Store, prepare:

Store Name
WhatsApp business number
Unique Store alias
Store logo
Product Categories
Product names
Product descriptions
Product images
Prices
Stock information
Business Hours
Shipping rules
Refund rules
Privacy information
Terms and Conditions

Creating the Store before preparing this information is possible, but the public Store should not be distributed until the important sections are complete.

35.14 Select the Correct WhatsApp Number

The number should:

  1. Belong to the business or authorized Store representative
  2. Be active
  3. Be able to receive WhatsApp messages
  4. Include the correct country information
  5. Be monitored during published Business Hours
  6. Be appropriate for customer orders
  7. Not be a personal number that should remain private

Test access to the WhatsApp account before publishing the Store.

35.15 Decide Who Will Manage Orders

Determine who will be responsible for:

Answering WhatsApp messages
Confirming Product availability
Reviewing submitted orders
Confirming payment
Arranging shipping or pickup
Updating order status
Resolving cancellations
Handling refunds

The Store makes ordering available, but it does not replace the business’s fulfillment process.

35.16 Plan the Store Alias

The Store Unique Alias forms the identifying part of the public Store URL.

Recommended alias examples:

aiunify-store
xnergy-accessories
moneyality-resources
detroit-home-decor

Avoid:

store1
new-store
test123
my-products-final

A strong alias is:

  1. Recognizable
  2. Easy to type
  3. Easy to share
  4. Suitable for printed materials
  5. Different from every other Store alias
  6. Unlikely to require frequent changes

35.17 Plan Categories Before Products

A Product is generally assigned to a Product Category.

Example:

Category:
Financial Education

Products:
Student Workbook
Teacher Guide
Moneyality Assessment
Digital Training Package

Create a simple category structure before entering a large catalog.

Too many narrowly defined Categories can make the Store difficult to browse.

35.18 Prepare Store Policies

Before publishing, determine:

  1. Where the business ships
  2. Whether local pickup is available
  3. How long fulfillment takes
  4. Which payments are accepted
  5. When returns are accepted
  6. Whether digital items are refundable
  7. How customer information is handled
  8. How customers can contact the business
  9. What happens when an item is unavailable

The public policy text should match actual business procedures.

Creating a New WhatsApp Store

35.19 Opening the Creation Form

To create a Store:

  1. Open WhatsApp Stores.
  2. Select New WhatsApp Store.
  3. Wait for the creation form to open.
  4. Complete the Store’s core information.
  5. Review every entry.
  6. Save the Store.

The programmed customer routes support both creation and later editing of WhatsApp Stores.

35.20 Core Store Fields

The creation and Basic Details interface uses core labels including:

Store Name
WhatsApp No
Store Unique Alias
Logo or Change Logo

These values establish the Store’s public identity and WhatsApp destination.

Completing the Store Name

35.21 Entering the Store Name

In Store Name, enter the public business or catalog name.

Good example:

AIUNIFY Small Business Solutions

Less effective example:

Online Store

The Store Name should make sense when shown:

  1. On the Store homepage
  2. In browser tabs or search information
  3. On a VCard
  4. In shared links
  5. In internal Store lists
  6. In customer communications

35.22 Store Name Consistency

Use the same spelling and capitalization throughout:

AIUNIFY Business Store

Avoid inconsistent variations such as:

Ai Unify Store
AI Unify Business
Aiunify shop

Consistency helps customers recognize that the Store belongs to the same business.

35.23 Store Name and Legal Business Name

The public Store Name does not always have to be the organization’s complete legal name.

However, legal policies, invoices, payment instructions, or order documents may need the correct registered business information.

Example:

Public Store Name:
Moneyality Resources

Legal Business Name:
Moneyality, LLC

Use the appropriate name in each area.

Connecting the WhatsApp Number

35.24 Entering the WhatsApp Number

In WhatsApp No:

  1. Select the correct country where required.
  2. Enter the business telephone number.
  3. Confirm the country code.
  4. Confirm every digit.
  5. Save the Store.
  6. Test the public WhatsApp action.

Do not enter a temporary number that may later be disconnected.

35.25 Country Code

A WhatsApp connection normally requires an internationally recognizable number.

Example:

Country:
United States

Country Code:
+1

Telephone Number:
3135550123

Follow the form’s country selector and formatting behavior rather than manually repeating the country code.

For example, do not enter:

+1 +1 3135550123

35.26 Testing the Number

After creating the Store:

  1. Open its public Preview.
  2. Select the WhatsApp or ordering action.
  3. Confirm that WhatsApp opens.
  4. Confirm that the intended business account appears.
  5. Confirm that the number is not missing digits.
  6. Test from a mobile device.
  7. Test through WhatsApp Web where applicable.

Complete this test before distributing the Store URL.

35.27 Changing the WhatsApp Number

To replace the Store number:

  1. Open WhatsApp Stores.
  2. Select Edit for the Store.
  3. Open Basic Details.
  4. Replace the WhatsApp number.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Open the public Store.
  7. Test the new number.
  8. Confirm that the old number is no longer used.

Changing the number does not automatically inform previous customers that the contact number changed.

35.28 Wrong WhatsApp Destination

When the Store opens the wrong account, verify:

  1. Country selection
  2. Country code
  3. Area code
  4. Telephone number
  5. Missing or repeated digits
  6. Whether the old page is cached
  7. Whether the correct Store was edited
  8. Whether a Product or external link contains another number

Correct the number and retest in a private browser window.

Creating the Store Unique Alias

35.29 Purpose of the Alias

The Store Unique Alias distinguishes the Store’s public address.

The application uses the alias when producing public Store, Product, policy, and subscription destinations.

A different Store cannot use the same unique alias.

35.30 Entering the Alias

Enter a concise alias based on the Store or business name.

Recommended:

moneyality-resources

Avoid unnecessary punctuation, spaces, or long descriptions.

A practical alias normally uses:

Lowercase letters
Numbers where necessary
Hyphens between words

35.31 Alias Availability

When the alias is already being used:

  1. Do not repeatedly submit the same value.
  2. Add a meaningful business distinction.
  3. Save again.

Examples:

aiunify-store
aiunify-business-store
aiunify-detroit-store

Avoid adding random numbers unless they have a business purpose.

35.32 Changing an Existing Alias

Changing the alias can change the public Store address.

Before changing it, review where the current address has been placed:

VCards
Social profiles
Email signatures
Websites
Advertisements
Printed flyers
QR codes
WhatsApp messages
Business directories

After changing the alias:

  1. Save the Store.
  2. open the new public URL.
  3. Test Product pages.
  4. Test policy pages.
  5. Test the cart.
  6. Test the WhatsApp action.
  7. Update all distributed links.

An old shared URL may no longer reach the Store correctly.

35.33 Avoid Frequent Alias Changes

A Store alias should be treated as a long-term public address.

Frequent changes can cause:

  1. Broken links
  2. Outdated QR codes
  3. Lost traffic
  4. Customer confusion
  5. Incorrect VCard destinations
  6. Inconsistent marketing materials

Choose carefully during initial setup.

Uploading the Store Logo

35.34 Selecting a Logo

Use the Logo control to upload the public Store image.

For an existing Store, the interface may label this action Change Logo.

The logo should be:

  1. Clear
  2. Current
  3. Authorized for use
  4. Readable at small sizes
  5. Consistent with the business
  6. Free of unnecessary background space

35.35 Recommended Logo Preparation

A square or nearly square logo generally adapts well across Store layouts.

Before uploading:

  1. Crop unnecessary empty space.
  2. Use a clear web image.
  3. Confirm that text remains readable.
  4. Avoid an extremely large file.
  5. Confirm that the background works with the selected template.
  6. Retain the original logo file elsewhere.

35.36 Transparent Logos

A transparent-background logo can work well on Store templates, but test it against:

  1. Light backgrounds
  2. Dark backgrounds
  3. Colored headers
  4. Mobile navigation
  5. Footer sections

A white logo may disappear on a white background.

A black logo may be difficult to see on a dark template.

35.37 Replacing the Logo

To replace the Store logo:

  1. Open the Store editor.
  2. Open Basic Details.
  3. Select Change Logo.
  4. Choose the new image.
  5. Save.
  6. Open Preview.
  7. Refresh the public Store.
  8. Check desktop and mobile views.

The previous image may remain visible temporarily because of browser caching. Refresh the page or open it in a private browser window.

Saving the New Store

35.38 Reviewing Before Saving

Before selecting Save, confirm:

Store Name is correct.
WhatsApp number is correct.
Country code is correct.
Alias is spelled correctly.
Alias is suitable for public use.
Logo is the correct file.

The public URL and WhatsApp destination are important enough to verify twice.

35.39 Saving

Select Save to create the Store.

After a successful save, the application may return to the Store list or open the Store editor.

Confirm that:

  1. The Store appears in the list.
  2. The Store Name is correct.
  3. The Preview opens.
  4. The Edit action opens.
  5. The public URL uses the intended alias.
  6. The correct logo appears.

35.40 Validation Errors

When the form does not save, review any message near the top of the page or below the affected field.

Common causes include:

  1. Missing Store Name
  2. Invalid telephone number
  3. Missing country information
  4. Duplicate alias
  5. Unsupported alias characters
  6. Unaccepted image
  7. File too large
  8. Expired login session
  9. Incomplete required information

Correct only the reported field before resubmitting.

35.41 An Empty New Store

A newly created Store may not yet contain Products or Categories.

The public page may therefore show messages such as:

Category Not Added
Products Not Added
No Products Found

This does not necessarily mean the Store creation failed.

It means the catalog still needs to be completed.

Understanding the Store Editor

35.42 Opening Edit

To edit a Store:

  1. Open WhatsApp Stores.
  2. Locate the correct Store.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Confirm the Store Name.
  5. Select the required editor section.

The customer application contains separate update operations for the Store’s main details and specialized sections.

35.43 Store Editor Sections

The Store editor includes programmed areas for:

Basic Details
WhatsApp Templates
Business Hours
Products Categories
Products
Trending Videos
Store Announcement
Advanced
Custom Fonts
SEO
Policies and Terms

The Store submenu directly identifies Basic Details, Business Hours, Products Categories, Products, Advanced, and Terms and Conditions, while the customer routes add template, SEO, fonts, trending-video, and Store-announcement update functions.

35.44 Basic Details

Use Basic Details to manage the Store’s primary identity.

This includes the Store information created during initial setup, such as:

Store Name
WhatsApp Number
Store Alias
Store Logo

Changes to Basic Details can immediately affect the public Store.

35.45 WhatsApp Templates

Use WhatsApp Templates to select the public Store design.

The application contains Store template families for different catalog styles, including general ecommerce and specialized business presentations.

Changing the template can affect:

  1. Header design
  2. Product-grid presentation
  3. Category layout
  4. Cart appearance
  5. Typography
  6. Announcements
  7. Policy-page design
  8. Mobile navigation

A template change should not be treated as permission to skip public testing.

35.46 Business Hours

Use Business Hours to communicate when the business is open or available.

Configure each active day with an opening and closing time.

Mark closed days appropriately.

Business Hours can help customers understand when a WhatsApp response, pickup, or order confirmation may occur.

Do not assume displayed hours automatically create a WhatsApp auto-response.

35.47 Products Categories

Use Products Categories to organize the catalog.

Examples:

Consulting Packages
Digital Courses
Books and Workbooks
Clothing
Home Décor
Food and Beverage
Travel Packages

Categories should normally be created before Products.

The application provides create, edit, update, and delete operations for Store Product Categories.

35.48 Products

Use Products to create the items sold through the Store.

Programmed Product information includes concepts such as:

Category
Selling Price
Net Price
Product Images
Total Stock
Available Stock
Description

Products and inventory are covered fully in Chapter 36.

35.49 Trending Videos

Use Trending Videos to add applicable promotional or informational video links.

The interface includes labels for:

Our Trending Videos
YouTube Links
Enter YouTube Video Link
Slider Video Banner

Use public, authorized video links.

A private, removed, restricted, or malformed video may not display.

35.50 Store Announcement

Use Store Announcement for prominent public Store messaging.

Examples:

Free local delivery this week
New summer collection available
Holiday ordering closes December 15
Call before visiting our showroom
Limited quantities available

The interface also includes Offers and Discount terminology.

An announcement describing a discount does not necessarily change Product prices automatically. Update the applicable Selling Prices when the actual catalog price must change.

35.51 Advanced

The Advanced area is used for additional Store behavior or customization.

Depending on the fields displayed, it may include technical controls that affect the public Store.

Only trusted and authorized code should be placed in advanced code fields.

Do not place passwords, private API keys, payment credentials, or confidential information in browser-delivered code.

35.52 Custom Fonts

Use Custom Fonts to adjust the public Store’s typography.

After changing fonts:

  1. Review Product names.
  2. Review long descriptions.
  3. Review prices.
  4. Review buttons.
  5. Review policy pages.
  6. Review the cart.
  7. Test mobile screens.

A decorative font may look appropriate in headings but be difficult to read in Product descriptions.

35.53 SEO

Use SEO to improve the Store’s search and sharing presentation.

SEO information can affect:

  1. Browser titles
  2. Search descriptions
  3. Social previews
  4. Public Store identification
  5. External analytics code where supported

SEO settings do not guarantee that a search engine will index or rank the Store.

35.54 Policies and Terms

The public Store template structure includes dedicated policy pages for:

Privacy Policy
Terms and Conditions
Refund Policy
Shipping Policy

These policies should be completed before accepting public orders.

The customer Store routes include a dedicated Store terms-and-conditions update function, while the public templates include the separate policy-page presentations.

Previewing the Public Store

35.55 Opening Preview

To preview:

  1. Return to WhatsApp Stores.
  2. Locate the Store.
  3. Select the Preview icon or Store URL.
  4. Allow the public page to load completely.

Preview should be performed after every major configuration change.

35.56 Public Store Testing

Test:

Store logo
Store Name
Categories
Product listing
Product Details
Prices
Stock messages
Search
Filters
Recommended Products
Add to Cart
Quantity changes
Order Summary
Place Order
WhatsApp destination
Newsletter subscription
Business Hours
Store announcement
Trending videos
Privacy Policy
Terms and Conditions
Refund Policy
Shipping Policy
Social sharing

35.57 Testing While Signed Out

A dashboard user may see cached information or remain authenticated.

Use a private browser window to test the actual visitor experience.

Recommended process:

  1. Copy the public Store URL.
  2. Open a private browser window.
  3. Paste the URL.
  4. Browse Categories.
  5. Open a Product.
  6. Add an item to the cart.
  7. Test the WhatsApp action.
  8. Review all policies.

35.58 Mobile Testing

Mobile testing is essential because many customers will enter through WhatsApp, social media, or a QR code.

Check:

  1. Navigation
  2. Product images
  3. Product names
  4. Prices
  5. Add to Cart
  6. Quantity controls
  7. Cart icon
  8. Order Summary
  9. Place Order
  10. WhatsApp opening
  11. Popups
  12. Policy scrolling

35.59 Desktop Testing

On a desktop computer, review:

  1. Product-grid spacing
  2. Image clarity
  3. Category layout
  4. Filter controls
  5. Long descriptions
  6. Cart alignment
  7. WhatsApp Web
  8. Footer links
  9. Policy pages
  10. Store sharing

Activating and Deactivating a Store

35.60 Activating the Store

Activate a Store only after confirming:

Correct WhatsApp number
Correct alias
Current logo
Selected template
Completed Categories
Completed Products
Correct prices
Current stock
Business Hours
Store policies
Working cart
Working WhatsApp action

Use the Store’s Status control to make it active.

35.61 Deactivating the Store

Deactivate the Store when:

  1. It is under construction.
  2. Products are being replaced.
  3. Pricing is outdated.
  4. The WhatsApp number is unavailable.
  5. The business is temporarily closed.
  6. A seasonal campaign has ended.
  7. Policies require revision.
  8. The Store should no longer accept public activity.

Deactivation normally preserves the Store configuration while changing public availability. It is different from deletion.

35.62 Test After Status Changes

After activating or deactivating:

  1. Open the Store in a private browser.
  2. Confirm the expected public behavior.
  3. Review any VCards linked to the Store.
  4. Check old public links.
  5. Confirm that customers do not receive misleading information.

35.63 Temporary Maintenance

For temporary maintenance:

  1. Deactivate the Store.
  2. Record the maintenance start date.
  3. Update Products, prices, and policies.
  4. Test Preview.
  5. Reactivate.
  6. Test the public URL again.
  7. Inform staff that ordering has resumed.

Connecting WhatsApp Stores to VCards

35.64 Purpose of the VCard Connection

A WhatsApp Store can be displayed through a digital card.

This allows a VCard visitor to move from professional or business information into a Store.

Example:

Public VCard
WhatsApp Store section
Selected Store
Products and cart
WhatsApp order conversation

35.65 Selecting Stores for a VCard

To connect Stores:

  1. Open VCards.
  2. Edit the desired VCard.
  3. Select the WhatsApp Store section.
  4. Open the WhatsApp Stores selector.
  5. Select one or more Stores.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Preview the VCard.
  8. Test each Store link.

The programmed VCard field is a multiple-selection control that loads available Stores by Store Name and logo, allowing more than one Store to be selected for a VCard.

35.66 Connecting Multiple Stores

A VCard can display multiple Stores.

Example:

AIUNIFY Software Store
AIUNIFY Training Store
AIUNIFY Consulting Packages

Use distinct Store Names and logos so visitors understand the difference.

35.67 Connecting One Store to Multiple VCards

The same Store can be selected for multiple VCards.

This is useful when:

  1. Several employees promote one company Store.
  2. Different departments share one Product catalog.
  3. Several event VCards use the same Store.
  4. Multiple location cards direct to one fulfillment operation.

Store Analytics will be associated with the Store and will not necessarily separate traffic by each referring VCard.

35.68 Removing a Store from a VCard

To disconnect a Store:

  1. Edit the VCard.
  2. Open WhatsApp Store.
  3. Remove the Store from the selected list.
  4. Save.
  5. Preview the VCard.
  6. Confirm that the Store no longer appears.

Removing the connection does not delete the Store itself.

35.69 Store Missing from the VCard Selector

Confirm that:

  1. The Store exists.
  2. The correct account is open.
  3. The Store belongs to the appropriate customer account.
  4. The Store was successfully saved.
  5. The editor was refreshed.
  6. The Store has not been deleted.
  7. The correct VCard is being edited.

Save the Store again and reopen the VCard editor when necessary.

Sharing the Store

35.70 Copying the Public Store URL

Use the Store Preview or Store Name link to open the public Store.

Then:

  1. Confirm the correct Store.
  2. Copy the complete public URL.
  3. Paste it into a private browser.
  4. Test it.
  5. Distribute only after successful testing.

Do not manually type the URL when copying is available.

35.71 Sharing Channels

The Store URL can be distributed through:

WhatsApp messages
VCards
Email
Websites
Social media
Digital advertisements
Online directories
Printed materials
QR codes created through an approved process

The public templates also include Store-sharing presentation and external sharing links.

35.72 Social Sharing

Before sharing:

  1. Confirm the Store is active.
  2. Review the SEO title and description.
  3. Confirm the logo or sharing image.
  4. Verify the alias.
  5. Confirm that the Product catalog is current.
  6. Confirm the connected WhatsApp number.

Social platforms may temporarily retain an older preview after Store information changes.

35.73 Printed Links and QR Codes

Before printing:

  1. Finalize the alias.
  2. Activate the Store.
  3. Test the public URL.
  4. Test the Store on mobile.
  5. Test the QR code from more than one phone.
  6. Confirm the WhatsApp destination.
  7. Retain the final URL in campaign records.

Changing the alias after printing can make the printed material unusable.

Managing Store Analytics and Subscribers

35.74 Opening Analytics

From the Store list:

  1. Locate the Store.
  2. Select Analytics or the statistics link.
  3. Review the Store-specific report.
  4. Confirm the Store identity before recording totals.

See Chapter 34 for complete Analytics instructions.

35.75 Opening Subscribers

To review email subscriptions:

  1. Open WhatsApp Stores.
  2. Locate the Store.
  3. Select Subscribers.
  4. Review the subscription records.
  5. Confirm that the list belongs to the correct Store.

The Store action templates contain dedicated Analytics and Subscribers destinations.

35.76 Store Subscribers and Marketing Permission

A Store Subscriber should be used according to:

  1. The consent presented during signup
  2. The Store Privacy Policy
  3. Applicable marketing requirements
  4. The organization’s approved communication procedures

Do not assume that an order automatically grants unlimited marketing permission.

Creating a Second Store

35.77 Separate Stores for Different Purposes

Create a separate Store when the business needs:

  1. Different WhatsApp numbers
  2. Separate brands
  3. Separate locations
  4. Separate Product catalogs
  5. Different currencies or pricing strategies
  6. Different policies
  7. Separate Analytics
  8. Seasonal campaigns
  9. Event-specific Stores
  10. Separate fulfillment teams

35.78 Creating the Second Store

Use New WhatsApp Store again and provide:

A distinct Store Name
A distinct Store Unique Alias
The correct WhatsApp number
The correct Store logo

Then create or enter the applicable Categories, Products, policies, and settings.

The standard customer routes expose creation but do not show a standard customer duplication operation. Create a separate Store through the normal New WhatsApp Store process rather than assuming the original Store can be cloned.

35.79 Avoiding Store Confusion

Use clear naming.

Example:

AIUNIFY Detroit Store
AIUNIFY Chicago Store
AIUNIFY Digital Products
AIUNIFY Consulting Packages

Do not create several Stores all named:

AIUNIFY Store

Distinct names reduce the risk of editing, deleting, or sharing the wrong Store.

Deleting a WhatsApp Store

35.80 When Deletion Is Appropriate

Delete a Store only when it is no longer needed and should not remain available for future editing.

Consider deactivation instead when:

  1. The Store may return.
  2. Historical settings may be needed.
  3. Products may be reused.
  4. A seasonal campaign may reopen.
  5. Staff still need to review Store information.

35.81 Before Deleting

Before deletion:

  1. Confirm the exact Store Name.
  2. Open Preview.
  3. Confirm the alias.
  4. Review outstanding WhatsApp Product Orders.
  5. Record important Analytics.
  6. Review Subscribers.
  7. Remove the Store from connected VCards.
  8. Remove public links.
  9. Replace printed or digital campaign destinations.
  10. Confirm that no employee still needs the Store.

The customer application includes a dedicated Store deletion route.

35.82 Deleting

To delete:

  1. Open WhatsApp Stores.
  2. Locate the correct Store.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Read the confirmation message.
  5. Verify the Store Name again.
  6. Confirm deletion only when certain.

Treat deletion as permanent from the customer dashboard.

35.83 What Deletion Does Not Remove

Deleting the Store from the platform does not automatically erase information held outside it, such as:

  1. Existing WhatsApp conversations
  2. Customer screenshots
  3. Previously downloaded documents
  4. Printed Store links
  5. Social-media posts
  6. External accounting records
  7. External payment records

Manage those records through their appropriate systems.

35.84 After Deletion

Confirm that:

  1. The Store no longer appears in the list.
  2. Its public URL is no longer being promoted.
  3. Connected VCards no longer display it.
  4. Staff know the Store was retired.
  5. Customers are directed to the replacement Store where applicable.

35.85 Accidental Deletion

The customer interface does not expose a standard Store restore action in the programmed customer routes.

When a Store is deleted accidentally:

  1. Stop making additional changes.
  2. Record the deleted Store Name and alias.
  3. Record the approximate deletion time.
  4. Contact the platform administrator immediately.
  5. Ask whether a recoverable backup or database record exists.

Recovery cannot be guaranteed.
