The Templates section controls the visual design of the digital card. The selected template determines how the card’s profile image, cover image, contact details, services, products, galleries, social links, appointments, and other sections are arranged for visitors.
The template selection is stored separately from the card’s information. This allows the user to change the card’s appearance without creating a new card or re-entering the basic details.
The system includes 66 programmed template designs. Each template appears as an image in the template gallery, and the currently selected template is visually outlined. The template name appears when the user moves the pointer over its image.
From the main dashboard:
On a phone or smaller screen, select the menu icon inside the editor to open the VCard editing sections.
The Select Template screen displays the complete template gallery. Selecting a template is required before the card can use that design.
Each template is represented by a thumbnail image.
The thumbnail provides an example of the template’s general design, including its layout style, image placement, section arrangement, spacing, and overall appearance.
When viewing the gallery:
The gallery automatically organizes matching Version 1 and Version 2 templates together where both designs exist.
Review the available template images and select the design you want to use.
After selecting a thumbnail, confirm that the highlighted selection border moves to the chosen design.
Selecting a template does not immediately apply it to the public card. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save.
Do not leave the page or select Discard before saving, because the previous template will remain assigned to the card.
These templates are designed for individuals, professionals, executives, businesses, and general-purpose digital cards.
A straightforward contact-focused design suitable for sharing basic personal or business information.
A professional presentation for executives, directors, managers, and business leaders.
A minimal layout that places emphasis on the cardholder’s content and images.
A general business design suitable for consultants, service providers, and corporate professionals.
A corporate-style template intended for professional networking and business communication.
A contemporary design for businesses and individuals seeking a more modern presentation.
A business-centered design that highlights professional identity and contact information.
A traditional corporate layout appropriate for established businesses and formal professional profiles.
A company-oriented design that emphasizes the business name, branding, and professional details.
A networking-focused design for professionals who want visitors to connect, call, email, or save their information.
A visual portfolio-style design intended for professionals who need to display work, projects, images, achievements, or creative content.
The following templates provide designs tailored to particular industries, professions, organizations, and services.
Many of these are available in two design versions:
The version number identifies a different visual layout. It does not indicate that one version is incomplete or unusable.
The template gallery contains the complete set of Version 1 and Version 2 designs along with Architecture, Reporter, and Hotel templates.
Choose a template based on the type of information the card needs to present.
A contact-focused professional may prefer a simple or corporate template. A photographer, musician, real estate professional, retailer, or designer may benefit from a more visual template that gives greater attention to galleries, products, or media.
Consider the following when comparing templates:
Review how the template positions the profile image, cover image, name, occupation, and company information.
A template with a large cover area may work well with professional photography or branded graphics. A compact header may be better for a simple contact card.
Consider which sections will be most important to visitors, such as:
Templates may arrange or emphasize these sections differently.
Choose a design that makes the visitor’s main action easy to find.
For example, a service provider may want the telephone, inquiry, and appointment options displayed prominently. A retailer may want products and payment options emphasized. A creative professional may want galleries and portfolio content to receive more visual space.
Most visitors may open the card from a phone after scanning a QR code. Select a template that remains clear and easy to navigate on a smaller screen.
The template gallery includes:
Dynamic vCard 2 is visibly marked with a Dynamic VCard ribbon in the template gallery.
Selecting a Dynamic VCard template establishes the dynamic design for the card. Additional appearance controls are managed through the separate Dynamic VCard section of the editor.
The Dynamic VCard section will be covered in the next chapter because it includes additional design and customization controls beyond selecting the base template.
Below the template gallery is an Active switch.
The digital card is active and can be displayed through its public address.
The digital card remains saved in the account but is not active for normal public use.
The Active setting is saved together with the selected template.
Before activating the card, confirm that it contains the correct:
A card can remain inactive while it is being prepared and then be activated when it is ready to share.
After selecting the template and choosing whether the card should be active, select Save.
The system records:
Wait for the success confirmation before leaving the editor.
The saved template becomes the layout used when the public digital card is opened.
The images in the Templates section are design thumbnails. They do not display the complete card with all of the user’s actual information.
To review the full card:

Also review the card on both a desktop computer and a mobile phone.
A card’s template can be changed after the card has already been created.
To change it:
The selected template is recorded through the card’s template identification field, while the card’s details and content remain managed in their existing editor sections.
After changing templates, review the entire public card because the new design may position images, buttons, text, and content sections differently.
Select Discard to leave the Templates section and return to the VCards page without saving the current template change.
The previously saved template and Active status will remain in place. The Templates screen provides both Save and Discard controls at the bottom of the page.
