Best Time to Post

The lower section of Social Analytics includes Best Time to Post, described as recommended times for maximum reach.

Recommended Timing Indicators

The current source-defined recommendation card includes examples such as:

  • Best Day
  • Morning Peak
  • Additional recommended publishing-time information displayed in the card

The current implementation identifies Wednesday as its displayed Best Day recommendation.

How to Use Recommended Times

Use the timing card as a planning reference when deciding when to schedule content. The recommendations can be combined with the Posting Calendar, Scheduled Posts, and Social Composer scheduling tools.

The displayed recommendations should be treated as guidance rather than a guarantee of engagement.

Channel Status

Beside the Best Time to Post card is the connected-channel summary. The component is labeled Channel Status and describes itself as a summary of active profiles.

Connected Channel Information

Each channel entry can display:

  • Profile image or platform icon
  • Account name
  • Platform name
  • Follower count
  • Engagement Rate

Compact Audience Values

Follower values of 1,000 or more can be displayed using a compact K format to keep the summary easy to scan.

Platform Filtering

The Channel Status list uses the currently filtered account collection. When All Platforms is selected, it can show accounts across the supported networks. When a specific platform is selected, only matching accounts remain in the summary.

No Channels Connected

If there are no connected accounts matching the current Analytics selection, the card can display No channels connected.

Using Channel Status with Other Analytics

Compare follower counts and engagement rates with Total Audience, Published Content, Total Engagement, and Top Performing Content. This can help distinguish a large audience from an actively engaging audience.

Recommended Operating Cycle

  1. Select the Analytics reporting period.
  2. Review All Platforms.
  3. Inspect the four summary cards.
  4. Review distribution and engagement charts.
  5. Review Top Performing Content.
  6. Check Best Time to Post.
  7. Compare connected channels in Channel Status.
  8. Repeat the review for important individual platforms.

Analytics Remains Read-Only

These analytics controls report on your social activity. They do not alter connected accounts, publishing schedules, captions, or provider configuration.
