Media Card Actions

Outside selection mode, Media Library cards provide quick actions when you hover over an eligible asset. These normal user actions include Preview, Copy URL, and—when the asset can be modified—Edit and Delete.

Preview Media

Select the View or eye icon to open a larger preview of the selected asset. Use Preview when you need to verify that the correct image or video has been selected before using it in a social post.

Video Preview

Video cards can also play a temporary muted preview when you move the pointer over the media card. Moving away pauses the preview and returns it to the beginning.

Copy URL

Select Copy URL to place the resolved media URL onto your clipboard.

When successful, AIUNIFY Social Media can display URL copied to clipboard.

Using a Copied URL

A copied URL can be useful in user workflows that accept a direct media URL. Copying the URL does not alter the media record or publish anything automatically.

Rename an Asset

When an asset belongs to a normal user and can be modified, select the Edit action to open Edit Media.

The edit dialog explains that you can enter a new name for the media asset.

  1. Open Media Library.
  2. Locate the media card.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Enter the new media name.
  5. Select Save Changes.

Name Validation

The Save Changes action remains unavailable when the name is blank or has not changed from the current name.

Successful Rename

When the update succeeds, AIUNIFY Social Media can display Media name updated successfully.

Failed Rename

If the update fails, the application can display Failed to update media name. Refresh the Media Library and verify the current asset name before attempting the change again.

Renaming Does Not Replace the File

Changing the media name modifies the media record's display name. It does not replace the actual image or video content and does not publish the asset.
