The Media Library is the centralized user workspace for storing and managing media assets that can later be selected for Social Composer posts, Bulk Publishing, Story content, and other supported user workflows.
Open Media Library from the normal application navigation when it is available to your account. The workspace displays your available media in a card-based grid and provides search, source filtering, media-type filtering, pagination, preview, copy, and permitted management actions.
The search field is labeled Search media library.... Enter part of a media name or other supported search value to narrow the displayed assets.
Search is delayed briefly while you type and automatically returns to the first results page when the search value changes.
For normal users, the Media Library provides source tabs that distinguish:
Changing the source filter resets the result view to the first page.
The Media Type control supports:
Select Images when you want only image assets or Video when you want only video assets.
Each card can display the media preview, asset name, underlying file type, and file size. Images display visually, videos can preview on hover, and other supported file types use an appropriate file icon.
If no items match the current filters, the workspace can display No media found with a message explaining that no media assets were found in the current library view.
The Media Library uses paginated results. When more than one results page exists, use the pagination controls to move between pages or adjust the number of rows displayed per page.
Keeping reusable images and videos organized in Media Library reduces repeated uploading and makes it easier to select consistent campaign assets from the Social Composer and other publishing workflows.
