Each saved Caption card includes normal user controls for editing, copying, and deleting the caption. The card also displays organizational information such as Source, Status, Tags, Notes, and creation time.
The Edit Caption dialog restores:
When the update succeeds, the interface can display Caption updated successfully.
Select the Copy action on a caption card to place the Caption Body text onto your browser clipboard.
After copying succeeds, the card briefly changes its copy indicator and the interface can display Caption copied.
The copied text can be pasted into the Social Composer or another authorized content workflow. Copying a caption does not publish it automatically.
When editing, you can change the caption between:
Use Draft while the reusable caption is unfinished, Inactive when you want to retain it without treating it as ready, and Active when it is prepared for normal reuse.
You can also change Source between Manual and AI. Selecting AI enables the normal caption-generation controls described in the previous chapter.
Tags are stored as comma-separated organizational values and appear as individual tag badges on the caption card.
Internal Notes are optional. When notes exist, the caption card displays an information indicator that can be used to review them without placing the notes inside the public caption text.
When deletion succeeds, the interface can display Caption deleted successfully and remove the record from the current caption results.
The interface can display Failed to delete caption or another returned error. Refresh the Captions Workspace and verify whether the record still exists before retrying.
If you may need the caption again later, consider changing its Status to Inactive instead of deleting it. Delete should be used for caption records you no longer intend to retain.
These actions manage reusable caption records in the normal user workspace. They do not configure system-wide AI models, provider API credentials, global prompts, administrator settings, or other elevated platform functions.
