The Weekly Planner is the default Publishing Calendar view. It displays seven day columns so that you can inspect the immediate publishing schedule in greater detail.
The selected week is calculated from Monday through Sunday. The calendar heading displays the corresponding weekly date range.
Each day column shows:
The current day receives a highlighted heading and date marker.
Each day's post area displays publishing records assigned to that local date. The day column can scroll when several social items are present.
A Weekly Planner post entry can display:
Instagram records can use an Instagram-style gradient accent. Other platforms use their own platform-specific visual indicators.
Select a weekly post entry to open its Social Post Review details. This makes it possible to inspect scheduled or published content directly from the week in which it appears.
For today and future dates, the bottom of each Weekly Planner column can display a Create action.
Past dates do not display the same dated Create action because the workflow is intended to schedule future content rather than create a new schedule in the past.
Week view is especially useful before a campaign launch because you can quickly inspect which days contain content, how closely posts are grouped, which platforms are represented, and where additional content may need to be created.
