Social Activity

Social Activity is the central history workspace for reviewing recent social media publishing operations and their current statuses.

The application describes this area as Track your recent social media posts and their status.

Opening Social Activity

Select Social Activity from the Social Media navigation. The page provides quick access to both historical publishing information and saved drafts.

What Social Activity Can Show

Depending on the selected filters, Social Activity can display records such as:

  • Published posts
  • Pending or scheduled posts
  • Failed publishing attempts
  • Saved drafts
  • Post, Story, and Reel content
  • Records from specific connected platforms

Publish Calendar Shortcut

The Social Activity page includes a shortcut to the Publish Calendar. Use it when you want to review content by calendar date rather than through the activity-card layout.

Publish Post

The page also includes a Publish Post action that opens the Social Composer so a new publishing item can be created.

Activity Cards

Retrieved records are displayed as activity cards. The cards provide quick information about the post and expose actions appropriate to the record's status.

Real-Time Updates

Social Activity listens for user-specific social post events. When publishing status changes, the activity data can be refreshed so the interface reflects updated social post information.

Draft View

Selecting the Draft status changes the data source from normal post history to the user's saved drafts. Draft records are then represented in the same general activity workspace with draft-specific actions.

Empty Activity

If no matching publishing history exists, the interface can display No social activity found with guidance to create, publish, or schedule content.

Pagination

Social Activity retrieves records in pages and displays pagination controls when the number of matching items exceeds the page limit. Use the page controls to continue reviewing older records.
