The Scheduled Posts workspace provides several visual indicators designed to help you understand how much content is waiting to publish and how soon the next posts are expected to run.
Total Scheduled displays the total number of records currently shown in the scheduled queue. This includes qualifying scheduled records returned to the page for the signed-in user.
Upcoming counts scheduled records whose scheduled publishing date and time are later than the current time.
This metric is useful for distinguishing truly future content from records that may still appear in the queue around their processing time.
The Platforms summary counts the distinct social platforms represented by the scheduled records.
For example, if several posts are scheduled for Facebook and several more for LinkedIn, those records contribute to two distinct platforms in the summary rather than counting every post as another platform.
Each scheduled post card contains a countdown area beside the Scheduled label. The countdown shows the remaining time until the post's scheduled publishing moment.
Depending on how far away the scheduled time is, the timer can present the remaining interval in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
The countdown is useful when:
In addition to the countdown, each card displays the scheduled calendar date and the scheduled clock time. Review both values rather than relying only on the countdown.
The schedule itself was created using the date, time, and timezone selected in the Composer. If a scheduled time appears unexpected, compare the item with the timezone used when it was originally submitted.
For critical content, open Scheduled Posts before the campaign begins and verify the Total Scheduled count, upcoming items, represented platforms, scheduled dates, scheduled times, and countdown values.
