AIUNIFY Social Media provides an Edit Scheduled Post action for scheduled social post records. This action opens the existing scheduled item in the Social Composer so that its content or schedule can be changed.
For an existing post, the Composer can restore:
If the post already contains a scheduled date, the Composer automatically restores Schedule as the active publishing option and loads the existing date and time.
You can also change the caption, media, eligible publishing format, Story customization, or audio before resubmitting the scheduled item.
The current Composer workflow loads the original scheduled record into the editing experience and submits the updated content through the publishing workflow. After the replacement submission begins successfully, the original stored post record is removed so the old and replacement versions are not both retained as active publishing records.
If you decide the scheduled content is no longer ready, you can change the publishing option to Draft and save the revised content as a draft. The current workflow then removes the original scheduled post record after the draft is successfully saved.
After rescheduling, open Scheduled Posts and confirm that the replacement record contains the intended future publishing time. If you converted the item to a draft, review it through the Draft workflow instead.
Because editing operates as a replacement workflow, always verify the resulting scheduled record after making changes. Confirm the correct account, caption, media, format, date, time, and timezone before leaving the workflow.
