Edit Draft

AIUNIFY Social Media allows an existing draft to be reopened in the Social Composer. Draft records can display an Edit Draft action that opens the Composer with the saved draft identifier.

Opening a Draft

1. Open Social Activity.
2. Switch to the draft records when the Draft view is available.
3. Locate the draft you want to continue.
4. Select Edit Draft.
5. The Social Composer opens with the saved draft information.

Information Restored from a Draft

When a draft is loaded, the Composer can restore:

• Caption text
• Selected social accounts
• Media Library attachments
• Publishing formats
• Internal notes
• Story text
• Story text color
• Story text background
• Story text size
• Story text position
• Story background
• Selected audio
• Existing scheduled date and time when present

Updating the Draft

Make the required changes and select Save Draft again. When the Composer is working with an existing draft ID, it updates that draft rather than creating another separate draft record.

A successful update can display Draft updated successfully!.

Changing a Draft into a Scheduled Post

If the content is ready but should publish later, choose Schedule, set the Date, Time, and Timezone, and submit it through the scheduled publishing workflow.

Publishing a Draft Immediately

If the draft is ready for immediate release, select Publish Now, review the content and Channel Preview, and submit the post.

Deleting a Draft

Drafts can also be deleted when no longer needed. The source includes a separate normal-user delete-draft operation and confirmation workflow. Draft deletion is covered later with Social Activity management.
