Removing a Connected Channel

Studios provides a normal user action for removing a social account from the AIUNIFY Social Media workspace. The interface presents the action as deleting the channel, while the underlying operation disconnects the social account from AIUNIFY Social Media.

Delete Channel Confirmation

When you request removal, the application opens a confirmation dialog titled Delete Channel with the warning:

Are you sure you want to delete this channel? This action cannot be undone.

Disconnect a Channel

  1. Open Studios.
  2. Locate the channel you no longer want connected.
  3. Open the channel actions.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. Review the confirmation carefully.
  6. Confirm the deletion.

What Happens After Confirmation

AIUNIFY Social Media sends a disconnect request for the selected social account. When successful, the application refreshes the account list and channel statistics and can display Account disconnected successfully.

If Disconnection Fails

If the request cannot be completed, the interface can display Failed to disconnect account or another provider-specific response. Refresh Studios and verify whether the account is still present before retrying.

Delete Versus Pause

  • Pause keeps the channel connected but temporarily inactive.
  • Delete removes the channel connection from the workspace.
  • Reconnect renews authorization for an existing connection.

Before Deleting

If you may need the channel again soon, consider pausing it instead of deleting it. Deleting the connection means you may need to complete the provider authorization process again before publishing to that account in the future.
