Opening a Connected Social Profile

Studios provides an Open action that lets you move from the AIUNIFY Social Media channel record to the corresponding social profile or channel on the external network.

How the Open Action Works

AIUNIFY Social Media uses the connected account information stored with the channel to construct the appropriate external destination. Depending on the platform, the system can use the connected username, handle, account ID, or channel ID.

Supported External Destinations

  • Facebook — opens the connected Facebook resource using its account identifier.
  • Instagram — opens the Instagram profile associated with the connected username.
  • X / Twitter — opens the X profile associated with the connected username.
  • LinkedIn — opens LinkedIn for the connected LinkedIn account or Page.
  • YouTube — opens the connected YouTube channel using its channel identifier.
  • Threads — opens the connected Threads profile.
  • TikTok — opens the connected TikTok profile.

Opening the Profile

  1. Open Studios.
  2. Locate the connected channel.
  3. Open the available channel actions.
  4. Select Open.
  5. The external social profile opens in a new browser tab or window.

Why Use Open

This action is useful when you want to verify the public-facing profile, confirm that the correct social identity was connected, inspect recently published content directly on the network, or compare information in AIUNIFY Social Media with the provider's live profile.

If the External Profile Does Not Open Correctly

Confirm that the channel still contains the expected username or account identity and that the connection is current. If the social provider changed the account username or access state, refresh or reconnect the channel before trying again.

Opening an external profile does not change any provider settings or AIUNIFY administrative configuration.
