Studios provides normal user actions for temporarily pausing a connected channel, resuming it later, and reconnecting it when authorization has expired or become invalid.
Use Pause when you want to keep an account connected but temporarily stop treating it as an active publishing destination.
When successful, the interface can display Channel paused successfully.
A paused channel can be returned to normal operation using Resume or Unpause, depending on the control displayed.
The interface can display Channel resumed successfully after the change completes.
Use Reconnect when the social provider session has expired or the existing authorization needs to be renewed. The application restarts the connection flow using the existing channel and account identifiers.
For supported platforms, the appropriate Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, X / Twitter, YouTube, Threads, or TikTok authorization workflow opens again.
The channel actions can also identify the reauthorization operation as Reconnect Profile. Complete the provider login and return to Studios after authorization succeeds.
If pausing or resuming fails, the application can display Failed to update channel. Refresh the page and retry once. If reconnection repeatedly fails because of provider-level configuration, contact support rather than modifying administrative integration settings.
