AIUNIFY Social Media uses a one-time password, or OTP, to verify access to an email address. The same verification interface is used during new-account registration and during password recovery.
The interface identifies the page as Verify your OTP and instructs you to enter the six-digit code sent to your email.
The primary user-facing elements include:
During processing, the button can display Verifying.... A valid code produces an OTP-verified success response.
If the original email does not arrive or the code is no longer usable, select the resend option. The interface can display Resending... while a replacement request is processed.
Use the newest code you receive. If multiple OTP emails have been generated, an earlier code may no longer be the correct code for the current verification attempt.
When OTP verification is being used for a forgotten password, successful verification continues to the Reset Password screen instead of account activation. Enter the code associated with the current password-reset request before creating the replacement password.
