Custom Domains allows eligible subscribers to use a branded domain with supported Local Growth public links and campaign redirects.
The feature appears only when the current Plan includes Custom Domains.
If Custom Domains is not included with the current Plan, the portal can display:
Your current plan does not include custom domains.
The number of Custom Domains can also be limited by Plan.
If the current allowance has been reached, a new Domain cannot be added until the account is within its allowed limit.
Enter a Domain such as:
go.yourbrand.com
The Domain should be entered without an http:// or https:// prefix.
A newly added Domain begins in a Pending state and receives a unique Verification Token.
The Custom Domains page provides DNS guidance for connecting the Domain to the AIUNIFY Search & Local Growth routing destination.
The normal setup uses the DNS information displayed by the portal, including the required verification token.
Add the displayed TXT verification value through the DNS service that manages the Domain.
DNS propagation can take time before the record becomes publicly visible.
After the TXT record has propagated, select the normal Verify action again.
If the TXT record cannot yet be found, the portal displays a message explaining that the token has not been detected and should be checked again after propagation.
When the TXT record is detected successfully, the Domain changes to Verified.
The Custom Domains workspace can display health information related to the Domain's DNS and secure public-routing readiness.
A Verified Domain can be set as the Default Domain.
The Default Domain becomes the preferred branded Domain used for supported public campaign URLs.
Use the normal Remove Default action when the Domain should remain verified but should no longer be the preferred default.
Select Delete only when the Custom Domain should be removed from the account's Domain list.
Before distributing branded links or printed QR materials, verify that the Domain remains healthy and opens the intended Local Growth destination.
