53.1 Offer Configuration

The Coupon Campaign form separates the customer offer from the operational controls that govern how long the offer remains usable and how many claims are accepted.

53.2 Percentage

Select Percentage when the offer is expressed as a percentage reduction.

Examples include 10%, 20%, or another percentage appropriate for the Business.

53.3 Fixed Amount

Select Fixed amount when the offer is based on a specific currency-value reduction.

Enter the intended value in the Discount Value field.

53.4 Free Item

Select Free item when the customer receives a specific product, service, upgrade, or item rather than a numerical discount.

53.5 Custom Offer

Select Custom offer when the promotion does not fit the Percentage, Fixed Amount, or Free Item categories.

53.6 Coupon Code Prefix

A Coupon Code Prefix is optional.

When supplied, the system normalizes the Prefix into uppercase letters and numbers and uses up to the supported Prefix length when generating the customer Coupon Code.

53.7 Unique Code Generation

Each successful customer claim receives its own unique Coupon Code.

The generated Code combines the optional Prefix with a random unique Code segment.

The system checks generated codes to avoid reusing an existing Coupon Code.

53.8 Usage Limit

Usage Limit controls how many customer claims the Coupon Campaign can accept.

If a positive Usage Limit has been reached, additional claim submissions are rejected.

53.9 Claim-Limit Message

When the Coupon has reached its configured claim limit, the customer receives:

This coupon has reached its claim limit.

53.10 Expiry Date

Expiry Date controls the date after which new Coupon Claims are rejected.

53.11 Expired-Coupon Message

If the customer attempts to claim an expired Coupon, the system displays:

This coupon has expired.

53.12 Terms

Terms appear on the customer-facing Coupon Page and should describe restrictions that matter before the customer claims or attempts to redeem the offer.

53.13 Active Status

Choose Active when the Coupon should be created as a published offer.

53.14 Draft Status

Choose Draft when the Coupon should be created without being in the Live published state.

53.15 Operational Check

Before launch, confirm that Discount Value, Usage Limit, Expiry Date, Terms, and Status all describe the same promotion. A strong offer should not contain customer-facing copy that conflicts with the operational limits configured in the system.
