17.1 Purpose of Locations

The Locations area is for Business addresses beyond the Primary Address stored in the Business Profile.

The interface specifically recommends Locations for:

  • Extra branches.
  • Service areas.
  • Booths.
  • Secondary addresses.
  • Store locations.
  • Other Business-specific customer destinations.

17.2 Primary Address vs. Location

The main Business Address should remain in the Business Profile as the Primary Address.

Do not duplicate the Primary Address as a Location unless there is an operational reason to represent it separately.

17.3 Business-Scoped Locations

When Locations is opened from a particular Business workspace, the page is scoped to that Business.

This makes it easier to manage branches or service areas without mixing them with Locations from another Business.

17.4 Location Information

A Location record can contain:

  • Business.
  • Location Name.
  • Phone.
  • Email.
  • Address.
  • Google Maps URL.

17.5 Location Destination

The Location's Google Maps URL is used as the preferred destination when available.

If it is unavailable, the system can fall back to the Business's map or Website destination when generating a Location QR target.

17.6 Location Directory

The Location Directory displays the Location, associated Business where applicable, Contact information, Map availability, current Status, and QR actions.

17.7 Location Coverage

The interface provides Location Coverage information so users can see how many additional Locations are associated with their Businesses.

17.8 Campaign Context

Accurate Locations help Business campaigns feel more locally specific by connecting branches, service areas, contact channels, and map destinations to customer-facing QR experiences.
