Curated answers are predefined responses that AIUNIFY Chat can return before using the normal AI retrieval and generation process.
The interface describes them as responses that short-circuit the LLM when the visitor's message contains the pattern.
Use Curated Answers for information that should be delivered consistently and intentionally.
Common examples include:
Open the Agent and select Curated answers.
The page contains an Add a curated answer form followed by the existing Curated Answers list.
The form contains two primary inputs:
The interface recommends using a short phrase or keyword set that the Agent should recognize before reaching for the LLM.
A pattern should be specific enough to identify the intended question without unintentionally matching unrelated visitor messages.
The Answer field displays a character count and supports a multiline response.
Because the purpose of a Curated Answer is consistency, write the response exactly as you want it delivered to visitors.
The existing list is labeled:
Existing (drag to reorder — top = highest priority)
Drag Curated Answers to reorder them when multiple patterns could potentially match. Higher items receive higher priority.
Some entries may appear with a Suggested badge.
A Suggested entry is not treated the same way as a normal approved entry. Review its pattern and Answer before deciding whether it belongs in the Agent's production behavior.
For a Suggested entry:
The interface asks for confirmation before rejecting a suggestion.
An existing Curated Answer can display a Disabled badge when it is not currently enabled.
Do not assume that every entry visible in the list is actively participating in visitor responses. Review its status as well as its position.
Use the delete action beside the entry and confirm the deletion.
Before deleting an approved answer, verify that it is no longer required and that visitors will still receive an appropriate response through Knowledge or another Curated Answer.
After creating or reordering Curated Answers, test the matching phrases in Playground.
Playground can identify a response with a Curated answer badge, making it easier to verify that the Curated Answer—not a normal generated reply—handled the test.
