AIUNIFY Chat can ingest supported files as Agent Knowledge directly from the Sources page.
This is useful for documents, product information, policies, reference material, exported data, and other content that is easier to provide as a file than as a webpage.
The deployed Sources interface lists:
The file selector also accepts the corresponding supported extensions provided by the application.
The interface states:
Keep individual files focused enough that their indexed text remains useful to the Agent.
The Upload Files area supports two methods:
The interface displays the selected file names and their approximate sizes before upload.
The button displays an Uploading state while the request is in progress.
If you selected the wrong files before upload, select Clear and choose the correct set.
Uploaded files become Knowledge Sources and are processed into Documents and searchable Chunks.
Use the Existing Sources area to monitor status and the Knowledge workspace to inspect what the Agent actually received.
File upload success alone does not prove that the content was extracted correctly.
After processing:
For CSV content, verify that the resulting text preserves the relationships a visitor question depends on. Extremely large or poorly structured exports may be less useful than a cleaned, focused source.
When a source file becomes obsolete, remove or replace its Knowledge rather than leaving conflicting versions available to the Agent.
