An AIUNIFY Chat Agent is an individual visitor-facing AI experience within a workspace. Each Agent can have its own name, default language, instructions, knowledge, retrieval confidence, appearance, Lead-capture behavior, publishing state, Conversations, and Leads.
Open Agents from the workspace sidebar and select New agent.
The New Agent page opens the Create agent form. The action is available only to workspace users whose role has permission to create Agents.
The creation form is organized as an Agent profile and contains four primary configuration areas:
Enter a clear operational Name that helps workspace users identify the Agent. The interface uses examples such as Sales assistant.
The Agent Name identifies the Agent inside the workspace. Visitor-facing presentation can later be adjusted separately from the Customize page through the Persona Display name.
The creation form currently offers these default language values:
Select the language the Agent should use by default. Additional language behavior can be influenced by visitor context, but this setting establishes the Agent's default.
The System prompt defines the Agent's role, tone, boundaries, and priorities before indexed knowledge and live visitor messages are added.
The interface allows up to 2,000 characters in this field. Write instructions that are specific enough to guide the Agent while leaving factual answers grounded in the Agent's Knowledge.
Retrieval confidence controls how certain the Agent must be before answering from retrieved knowledge.
The interface explains that below the selected threshold, the Agent should say it does not know instead of guessing. The value can be adjusted from 0 to 1 in increments of 0.01.
When an Agent is created, AIUNIFY Chat can inherit the workspace's Widget defaults for visitor-facing configuration such as:
These defaults provide a usable starting point. The Agent can later be customized individually.
After successful creation, AIUNIFY Chat redirects to the new Agent's workspace so you can train, test, publish, and install it.
Do not immediately install a new Agent on a live website. Add Knowledge, test realistic questions in the Playground, review its settings, and publish only when its responses are ready for visitors.
