15.1 Real-Time Lead Awareness

AIUNIFY Chat includes workspace notifications intended to help users notice newly captured Leads without repeatedly refreshing the Inbox.

The workspace shell checks for recent Lead activity while the application is open and can present an in-application notification when new Leads arrive.

15.2 What the Lead Alert Can Provide

The Lead notification feed can include information such as:

  • Lead identifier
  • Email
  • Name
  • Phone
  • Agent name
  • Inbox link
  • Creation time

The purpose is to provide enough context to identify new activity and move directly into the relevant Lead record.

15.3 Browser Notifications

When browser notifications are supported and the user grants permission, AIUNIFY Chat can also display a native browser or operating-system notification for new Lead activity.

Browser notification permission is controlled by the browser. If notifications have been blocked, AIUNIFY Chat cannot silently override that browser setting.

15.4 Enabling Browser Alerts

  1. Use the Lead notification control in AIUNIFY Chat.
  2. Allow notifications when the browser prompts for permission.
  3. Keep AIUNIFY Chat available while monitoring active work.
  4. Select the notification or open the Inbox when follow-up is required.

15.5 Lead Feed Polling

The deployed workspace periodically requests recent Lead information while the workspace is active. This keeps the notification payload small and allows the interface to alert the user to activity that occurred after the prior check.

Notifications supplement the Inbox; they do not replace it.

15.6 Human Handoff Alerts

The same workspace activity feed also tracks recent human-handoff requests separately from new Leads. A handoff request can include the Agent name, originating page, a preview of the visitor's first message, the Conversation link, and when the human request occurred.

This allows operators to distinguish a new captured Lead from a visitor who is actively waiting for human assistance.

15.7 Notification vs. Record State

An alert tells you that an event occurred. Always open the corresponding Lead or Conversation to determine its current state. Another operator may already have acted by the time you open the notification.

15.8 If Alerts Stop Appearing

Check the following:

  • AIUNIFY Chat is still open and authenticated.
  • The correct workspace is selected.
  • Browser notification permission has not been blocked.
  • The event actually produced a new Lead or handoff request.
  • The Inbox or Conversations view contains the underlying record.
