12.1 Searching the Inbox

The Inbox includes a Search field with the interface prompt Search by email, name, or phone....

Use Search when you know identifying information for a Lead but do not want to browse the entire list.

  1. Open Inbox.
  2. Enter part or all of the Lead's email address, name, or phone number.
  3. Review the matching results.
  4. Select the intended Lead to open its record.

12.2 Filtering by Lead Status

The Inbox provides a Lead-view selector with these choices:

  • All leads
  • New
  • Qualified
  • Contacted
  • Won
  • Lost

Selecting a status limits the list to Leads currently assigned that status. Return to All leads to remove the status restriction.

12.3 Filtering by Phone Availability

The Inbox also includes a Phone filter with these options:

  • Any phone state
  • Has phone number
  • Missing phone number

This is useful when a workflow requires telephone follow-up or when you need to identify Leads that have not supplied a telephone number.

12.4 Sorting Leads

The deployed Inbox supports the following sorting choices:

  • Newest first
  • Oldest first
  • Lead name A-Z
  • Lead name Z-A

Sorting changes the order in which the current result set is displayed; it does not alter Lead data.

12.5 Combining Search and Filters

Search, status filtering, phone filtering, and sorting can be used together. For example, you can show only Qualified Leads that contain a phone number and then sort them by name.

If the result becomes unexpectedly narrow, review all active controls before concluding that a Lead is missing.

12.6 Reviewing the Table

The visible Inbox table can include Status, Email, Phone, Page, and Created columns. Use the table-column control to adjust which columns are displayed.

The Page value can help identify the website context from which the Lead originated. This can be useful when the same Agent is deployed across multiple pages or content areas.

12.7 No Matching Leads

When Search or filters are active and nothing matches, the Inbox displays a No matching leads state. Clear or broaden the current search and filters before assuming the record does not exist.

12.8 Review Before Editing

Filtering and sorting are discovery tools. Once the correct Lead is found, open the individual Lead record and review its details and associated Conversation before changing the operational status.
