5.1 Global Search

AIUNIFY Chat provides workspace-wide search so a workspace user can quickly locate operational records without navigating through each area separately.

The customer workspace search covers supported workspace records including Agents, Conversations, and Leads.

5.2 Searching the Workspace

  1. Open Global Search from the workspace interface.
  2. Enter a useful identifying term.
  3. Review the returned results by record type.
  4. Select the correct Agent, Conversation, or Lead.
  5. Confirm the record details before making changes.

Use identifying information that is likely to distinguish the intended record. If a search returns multiple similar results, open the record and verify it before editing.

5.3 Lead Activity Notifications

The workspace includes live lead-capture notifications. While the workspace is open, the application checks for newly captured Leads and can surface an in-application notification when new activity arrives.

Use these notifications to move quickly from general workspace activity into the relevant Lead record.

5.4 Browser Notifications

AIUNIFY Chat can also request browser notification permission for lead activity. Browser support and the browser's current notification permission determine whether operating-system notifications can be displayed.

If notifications are blocked at browser or operating-system level, the application cannot override that choice.

5.5 Enabling Lead Notifications

  1. Use the lead-notification control in the workspace interface.
  2. When prompted, allow browser notifications if you want system-level alerts.
  3. Keep the AIUNIFY Chat workspace available while actively monitoring lead activity.
  4. Open the associated Lead when an alert requires follow-up.

5.6 What’s New

The workspace layout can display a What's New banner when product changes or new information should be surfaced to the user.

Review these notices because interface behavior, features, or available workflows may change over time.

5.7 Language Suggestion Banner

The workspace layout also supports a locale suggestion experience. When appropriate, the application can suggest a language choice based on the current user experience.

Language changes affect the interface labels available through supported translations; they do not change the underlying workspace records.

5.8 Search and Notification Best Practices

  • Use Search before assuming an Agent, Conversation, or Lead is missing.
  • Verify a search result before editing it.
  • Use lead alerts for timely follow-up, not as a replacement for the Inbox.
  • Review What's New notices after product updates.
  • Remember that browser notification behavior depends on browser permission.
