AIUNIFY Chat includes an onboarding workflow that helps a workspace prepare an Agent for its first website deployment. The deployed onboarding interface works with the current workspace and an Agent, then guides the user through connecting content, detecting the type of site, selecting knowledge pages, and installing the widget.
Onboarding may appear automatically when the workspace or Agent still requires initial setup.
The deployed onboarding workflow uses four operating stages:
The onboarding screen displays the Agent being configured. If the automatically created Agent name is not appropriate, use the available rename control before continuing.
Use a name that clearly identifies the business, purpose, department, product, or experience represented by the Agent.
Discovery is intended to help identify useful source pages. It does not require every discovered URL to be added to the Agent.
After successful website discovery, onboarding attempts to detect an appropriate site type. The detected result is presented with a confidence indication and can be reviewed before it is applied.
If automatic detection cannot complete, the interface allows the user to select a suitable type manually. A generic option is available when a more specific preset is not appropriate.
A site-type preset can provide an initial operating configuration appropriate to the detected business or content type. Review the suggested choice and apply the preset that best matches the site.
Presets are a starting point. Agent settings can be adjusted later from the Agent workspace.
The onboarding workflow presents discovered URLs so the user can choose which pages should become Agent knowledge sources.
Selected pages are added to the Agent as sources and then processed for indexing.
During the Install stage, AIUNIFY Chat checks the Agent's source count and indexed-source count. Do not assume a newly submitted source is immediately ready for answers.
When needed, continue later from the Agent's Sources or Knowledge area to review source status and resolve failed or incomplete ingestion.
The onboarding interface generates a script snippet containing the widget source and the Agent identifier.
Copy the generated snippet and place it in the intended website according to the site's normal code or integration process. The Agent identifier in that snippet determines which AIUNIFY Chat Agent the visitor widget loads.
Initial onboarding is only the beginning of Agent preparation. Before broad deployment, review the Agent configuration, test representative visitor questions in the Playground, inspect its knowledge, confirm lead-capture behavior, and publish the intended Agent version.
