67.1 AssetCentral Overview

AssetCentral extends AIUNIFY CRM with operational asset tracking. It can store business asset information and make asset-related workflows available according to the permissions assigned to the signed-in user.

Asset information can include identifiers, status, location, category, responsible personnel, purchase information, and other details recorded for the asset.

67.2 Asset Information

Confirmed AssetCentral records can contain information such as:

  • Asset Name.
  • Asset number or ID.
  • Serial Number.
  • Model Number.
  • Asset Status.
  • Asset Image.
  • Location.
  • Category.
  • Purchase Cost.
  • Purchase Date.
  • Asset Manager.
  • Created Date.

67.3 Asset Details

Open an Asset record to review the operational information available to you.

The interface includes general Asset Details and can also present related information such as depreciation, appreciation, supplier information, custom information, projects, and location information when applicable.

67.4 My Assets and User-Relevant Assets

AssetCentral can restrict operational asset information according to the signed-in user and the asset's assigned responsibility.

Use the asset list or user-relevant asset view available to your account to identify equipment, property, or other tracked assets for which you are responsible or authorized to work.

67.5 Asset Manager

An Asset record can identify an Asset Manager.

This relationship helps establish operational responsibility for the asset. When reviewing an asset, confirm the assigned manager before initiating a transfer, audit, check-in, or check-out action.

67.6 Categories and Locations

Assets can be associated with an existing Category and Location.

Use these values to understand what type of asset is being tracked and where it belongs. Asset lists and audits can use these relationships for filtering and selection.

67.7 Project Assets

AssetCentral integrates with Projects through a Project Assets area.

When an Asset is connected to a Project, use the Project Asset relationship to understand the operational context without duplicating the asset into a separate unrelated record.

67.8 Asset Location

The source includes an Asset Location in Map presentation where location data is available.

Use location information as one operational reference and confirm physical possession separately when a check-in, check-out, transfer, or audit requires physical verification.

67.9 Asset Status

Asset Status describes the current state of the tracked asset.

Use the existing status values presented by the operational workflow and keep the record consistent with the asset's real-world condition and custody.

67.10 Notes and Attachments

Asset workflows can include supporting Notes or Attachments associated with an asset.

Use them for information that belongs to the asset record, such as condition details, supporting documentation, photos, or other relevant operational evidence.

67.11 Finding the Correct Asset

Use identifying information such as Asset Name, Asset ID, Serial Number, Model Number, Category, Location, and manager relationship to confirm the correct record before making a change.
