61.1 AI Call Logs Overview

AI Call Logs provide an operational record of AI-assisted telephone activity stored in AIUNIFY CRM. Access is permission-controlled, so the records available to one user may differ from those visible to another user.

The Call Log workspace is designed for reviewing completed call activity and using the resulting information when continuing Lead or Customer follow-up.

61.2 Opening AI Call Logs

When AI Call Logs are available to your account, open AI Call Logs from the CRM navigation.

The list provides an overview of recorded calls. Select a Call Log to open its detailed record when additional information is needed.

61.3 Call Log Information

The confirmed Call Log structure can contain:

  • Internal Call Log ID.
  • Call ID.
  • Created date.
  • Call direction.
  • To Number.
  • From Number.
  • Recording.
  • Call status or ended reason.
  • Call duration.
  • Call price.
  • Related CRM record information.

61.4 Inbound and Outbound Calls

The Call Log records whether the telephone activity was inbound or outbound.

Use direction together with the phone numbers and related CRM record to understand whether the contact initiated the call or the AI calling workflow contacted the prospect.

61.5 Playing a Call Recording

When a Recording URL has been stored for the Call Log, the Call Log list provides an audio player.

  1. Locate the correct Call Log.
  2. Confirm the phone numbers and date.
  3. Use the recording player when a recording is available.
  4. Listen for information relevant to the next CRM action.
  5. Record necessary follow-up on the appropriate Lead, Customer, Task, or other operational record.

61.6 Transcripts and Summaries

The underlying Call Log record supports stored transcripts and a call summary. These fields depend on information returned by the AI calling provider for the individual call.

When transcript or summary information is present, use it as a review aid. Verify important commitments, amounts, dates, names, or instructions against the actual conversation context before relying on them for a business decision.

61.7 Related Leads and CRM Records

Call Logs can store a relationship type and relationship ID connecting the call with another CRM record, including Lead-related activity.

Use the related record to continue the sales or service process instead of treating the Call Log as a replacement for the Lead or Customer record.

61.8 User-Specific Call Visibility

The Call Log data query supports limiting records to the current staff user when that user does not have global Call Log viewing access.

This means two operational users may legitimately see different Call Log lists. Work with the records made available to your account.

61.9 Reviewing Duration and Cost

Call Logs can store call duration and price information.

These values are useful for understanding the length and recorded provider cost of individual calls. Use the fields as recorded by the calling workflow and avoid manually inferring missing values.

61.10 Lead Follow-Up Workflow

  1. Open AI Call Logs.
  2. Locate the relevant call by date, number, direction, or related record.
  3. Open the Call Log.
  4. Review the call status or ended reason.
  5. Listen to the recording when available.
  6. Review transcript and summary information when present.
  7. Open the related Lead or Customer record.
  8. Update the operational CRM record based on verified call information.
  9. Create a Task or Reminder when additional follow-up is required.

61.11 Best Practices

  • Confirm the correct call before acting on it.
  • Use recordings when clarification is needed.
  • Treat automated transcripts as an aid that still requires business review.
  • Continue the business workflow on the related CRM record.
  • Document important follow-up promptly.
  • Respect the Call Log visibility assigned to your account.
