A Project can contain several kinds of shared or internal content, including Files, Discussions, and Project Notes.
Use each area for its intended purpose so that Project information remains organized and understandable to authorized users.
The Project Files area is used to store files related specifically to the Project.
Examples can include:
When file upload is available to your account:
The Project file workflow supports changing whether a file is visible to the Customer.
This is a Project-specific sharing decision.
Before making a file customer-visible, verify that:
The Project file workflow includes bulk processing for selected files.
Depending on your permission and the selected operation, bulk actions can change file visibility and can delete files when deletion is permitted.
Important: Review every selected file before a bulk visibility or deletion action.
Discussions provide a conversation area associated with the Project.
Confirmed Discussion information includes:
Discussion participants can add comments/replies through the supported Discussion workflow.
Use comments to continue the same Project conversation instead of creating a new Discussion for every response.
Attachments can be associated with Discussion activity.
When adding one, verify that the file belongs to the Discussion and that its visibility is appropriate for the intended participants.
The Discussion workflow supports editing and deletion actions where the signed-in user has the applicable access.
Do not remove useful Project conversation merely to make the history shorter. Edit or delete only when a legitimate correction or removal is required.
AIUNIFY CRM also provides Project Notes.
The source identifies these as personal/internal notes associated with the Project.
Use a Project Note when the information is useful to your own Project work but does not belong in a Customer-visible Discussion.
