After a Proposal has been created, AIUNIFY CRM provides operational tools for reviewing, communicating, copying, and progressing it through its lifecycle.
The actions visible to you depend on your Proposal permissions.
Proposals can be reviewed through list-oriented and pipeline-oriented workflows.
The Pipeline organizes Proposal records by their current Proposal status, allowing you to see commercial work across stages.
The Proposal Pipeline supports search and sorting behavior.
Use the search field to narrow the Pipeline rather than manually scanning every Proposal. When your organization uses Tags, search can also help locate Proposal records through the available tagged information.
When your account has permission to edit Proposals, status-oriented Pipeline actions can be available.
Move or change a Proposal's status only when the real business state has changed. The purpose of Pipeline status is to represent the Proposal accurately, not simply to move cards forward.
Open a Proposal to review its customer-facing information, items, totals, status, and available actions.
Before sending or changing the status, verify that you are working with the correct Proposal and recipient.
The Proposal workflow includes comments.
Where available to you, comments can be added to a Proposal and existing comments can be edited or removed according to the access permitted by the CRM.
Use comments for Proposal-related communication or context appropriate to the comment workflow. Do not use comments as a substitute for correcting inaccurate Proposal transaction data.
AIUNIFY CRM provides a Proposal email workflow for users who are permitted to view the Proposal.
The send workflow can include:
Before sending, confirm the recipient, Proposal content, totals, and attachments.
A Proposal can be rendered as a PDF through the CRM's Proposal document workflow.
Use the PDF when you need a portable representation of the Proposal. Review the generated document before distributing it outside the CRM.
Users with Proposal creation access can copy an existing Proposal.
Copy is useful when a new Proposal is substantially similar to an existing one, but the copied record becomes a separate Proposal.
After copying, review all relationship information, dates, items, prices, discounts, and recipient information before using the new Proposal.
Where your user has Proposal edit access, the Proposal interface can provide actions for changing its current status.
Use these status actions rather than changing unrelated Proposal fields to indicate lifecycle progress.
If a Proposal has already been sent to a Lead or Customer, changing its financial content can cause the CRM version to differ from what the recipient previously saw.
