A Lead represents a prospect or potential business relationship that is still being qualified before becoming an established Customer.
The Leads workspace is designed for tracking that prospect through the qualification and follow-up process.
If your user account has access to Leads, open Leads from the CRM navigation.
The information you can see or modify depends on your permissions and whether a Lead is available to you through the CRM's access rules.
The normal Leads workspace provides a table-oriented way to review Lead records.
Use the table view when you need to locate records, apply available filters, review Lead information across rows, or perform permitted operations on selected Leads.
AIUNIFY CRM also provides a Kanban Lead view.
The Kanban organizes Leads into columns based on the existing Lead statuses configured for the CRM environment.
This provides a visual way to understand where prospects currently sit in the qualification process.
The Kanban source supports Lead searching.
Use the search control to narrow the displayed Lead cards when you are looking for a particular prospect instead of manually scanning every status column.
The Kanban workflow also supports sorting controls.
When sorting is available in your interface, use it to organize the Lead cards in a way that helps you review the current workload.
Kanban data can be loaded in pages rather than placing an unlimited number of Lead cards on the screen at one time.
If a status column contains additional Leads beyond the initial set, use the available continuation/load-more behavior to review the remaining records.
Active Leads are associated with an existing Lead status.
The current status helps communicate where the Lead is in your organization's working process. The setup and creation of the status catalog itself are outside this User Operations Manual.
The Lead Profile contains state information that distinguishes ordinary active Leads from Leads that have been marked Lost, marked Junk, or converted into a Customer.
These states have different meanings and should not be treated as interchangeable:
Lead access can depend on assignment and other access rules.
A user may therefore see a different set of Leads than another staff user. Use the Lead records made available through your authenticated workspace.
Use the Table when you need list-oriented searching, filtering, or bulk work.
Use the Kanban when the status-based visual workflow makes it easier to review progression across Lead stages.
Both views represent the same underlying Lead records, so an update to a Lead should remain part of the same Lead history regardless of which view you used to open it.
