Customers is the CRM area used to maintain organizations or customer accounts with which your business has an established relationship.
Customer access is permission-controlled. A user may have broad Customer visibility, access to specifically assigned Customers, permission to create Customers, or a combination of those capabilities.
A Customer represents the company or customer account.
A Contact represents an individual person associated with that Customer.
A single Customer can therefore have multiple Contacts without duplicating the company itself.
The Customer profile acts as a central relationship record. Depending on your permissions and the functions in use, a Customer can be associated with:
AIUNIFY CRM supports customer assignment to staff users.
This means a user without broad Customer visibility can still be allowed to work with Customers assigned to them according to the application's permission and assignment logic.
Before adding a Customer, search for the company or account first.
Check known information such as the company name, contact information, or other identifying values available in the Customers workspace.
Creating duplicate Customers can separate Contacts, invoices, projects, tickets, notes, and other relationship history between different records.
Open a Customer record to enter its profile workspace. The available tabs and related data depend on the Customer record, enabled CRM functionality, and your permissions.
The Customer profile is designed to let you move between company information and related operational records without treating each relationship as an unrelated data entry.
The Customer profile supports attachments. Files can be uploaded to the Customer record when the applicable interface and access are available.
Attach files to the correct Customer so that other authorized users can locate them in the context of the relationship.
Customer information can flow into downstream business records and communications. Before saving changes, verify important names, addresses, phone numbers, billing details, and other customer information shown in the form.
