4.1 The CRM Workspace

After authentication, AIUNIFY CRM loads the internal staff workspace. The interface is organized around navigation, the current work area, notifications, Quick Actions, and the records your account is permitted to use.

4.2 Sidebar Navigation

The sidebar is generated from the functions available to the signed-in user.

Common operational sections can include:

  • Dashboard
  • Customers
  • Sales
  • Subscriptions
  • Expenses
  • Contracts
  • Projects
  • Tasks
  • Support
  • Leads
  • Estimate Requests
  • Knowledge Base
  • Media
  • Calendar
  • Reports

Additional enabled modules may add more operational sections to the workspace.

4.3 Why Menus Differ Between Users

AIUNIFY CRM evaluates permissions when building access to many operational areas.

A user may have permission to create records without having broad visibility into every record. Another user may have view-only access. Some users may be permitted to work only with assigned or owned records.

This is normal behavior and helps organizations separate responsibilities.

4.4 Common Permission Behaviors

Operational permissions can affect actions such as:

  • Viewing a workspace.
  • Viewing records assigned to or owned by the user.
  • Creating a record.
  • Editing an existing record.
  • Deleting a record.

The absence of an action button can therefore be permission-related rather than a software error.

4.5 Quick Actions

Quick Actions are shortcuts for creating commonly used CRM records.

Depending on your access, the Quick Actions menu can provide shortcuts for:

  • Invoice
  • Estimate
  • Proposal
  • Credit Note
  • Customer
  • Subscription
  • Project
  • Task
  • Lead
  • Expense
  • Contract
  • Knowledge Base Article
  • Ticket
  • Calendar Event

4.6 Using a Quick Action

  1. Open the Quick Actions control.
  2. Select the record type you need.
  3. Complete the required information.
  4. Review related Customer, Contact, date, status, or assignment information as applicable.
  5. Save the record.
  6. Verify that the resulting record opens correctly.

4.7 Returning to Related Records

Many CRM screens contain links to related Customers, Contacts, Projects, Tasks, sales transactions, or other records.

Use those relationships when available instead of repeatedly returning to the main menu and searching from the beginning.

4.8 Understanding Access Denied

If the CRM reports that access is denied, do not repeatedly attempt the restricted function. Your account does not currently satisfy the permission check for that action.

Continue using the functions available to your account or follow your organization's access-request process if your responsibilities require additional access.

4.9 Operational Navigation Practice

Use the sidebar for broad navigation, Quick Actions for rapid record creation, related-record links for moving through a customer workflow, and search/filter tools for locating existing records.

Best practice: Work through the interface presented to your account. Do not try to bypass missing navigation or permission checks with manually constructed URLs.
